PARENT 'S GUIDE to
BODYWORK FOR BABIES
About the Book
There are evidenced-based therapies….and then there is the real world.
This book is about the real world.
This book offers real solutions that have helped real babies and real families. Based upon twenty-five years of clinical experiences, the methods in this book are routinely taught to the parents seeking help for their babies. Issues such as: breastfeeding difficulties, tongue-tie management, torticollis, mishappen heads, colic, reflux, and constipation, fussiness that doesn't go away, and other challenges in self-soothing and regulation.

The Bodywork for Babies Parent's Companion Guidebook was written in response to requests for an instruction manual teaching parents how to soothe their babies. Lactation consultants, midwives, and pediatric practitioners praised the idea of such a resource.

This book's contents are designed to empower parents with a deeper understanding of the anatomical reasons behind their babies' everyday struggles. Several practical bodywork techniques are included and are easy to implement by following the basic instructions for each. Based on years of performing bodywork on infants and witnessing the positive changes, the author teaches these same techniques to many parents on how they can help their baby at home.
